Welcome to the wondrous force of nature that is Kate Conklin! In her own words:
“Kate Conklin is 6 feet 3 inches of pure, unadulterated resonance.
She is an operatic soprano, a leading interpreter of the highly demanding vocal music of Bulgaria, and an extraordinary performance coach. After earning two degrees in Vocal Performance, Kate was awarded a Fulbright and studied singing and conducting in Bulgaria, where she performed with a professional women's choir. Kate was then the vocalist for Cirque du Soleil’s “O,” where she performed approximately nine hundred shows, and was then brought on to teach at the California Institute of the Arts for several years before founding her own training for performers.
The Wildness & Precision® Method is based on the concept of autopoiesis, which means "self-creation." By using tools and principles based on our true design, Kate coaches performers to create deeply playful, limitless performing reliably and exquisitely. The work is inherently trans-disciplinary, precisely attuned to the performer's bio-individuality, and empowers performers to develop skills and mastery for a lifetime.”
